Decorative concrete is about more than just ever-advancing, easy-to-use, and creative products. It is also about information. It is about training and gaining the knowledge to use the newest and best products so they perform to their fullest and provide lasting beauty and enjoyment. That is why Architectural Enhancements puts an emphasis on training and certification. For Decorative Concrete Overlays, Stains, and Sealers, there may be no better place to learn the craft than at Architectural Enhancements’ Artisan Certification courses.

All Artisan Certification Courses include classroom training so that students get the basic knowledge necessary to understand the products. But the real learning comes during the hands-on portion of the decorative concrete training sessions. Here, each student uses a variety of overlays and stains and sealers on their own projects. And the projects are done on portfolio boards so that they may be used by the student to show prospective customers the textures and colors that can be created.

Architectural Enhancements’ Decorative Concrete Training sessions are held frequently in late fall, winter, and early spring. Foundations classes run a varied length of days and give the decorative concrete artisan the knowledge and confidence to use overlay products to create excellent projects. Advanced sessions teach more of the artistic techniques to make the students’ work worth even more.

COLOR CLASS: The color class is scheduled for March 10, 2011 at our headquarters in Annandale, MN. "Working with Color" is a "hands-on" class that will provide instruction on awesome staining techniques with the student taking home a number of staining samples for only $199. The "Premier Overlays, Stone & Countertops Class" will be held in Annandale in March. The class is at our headquarters in Annandale, MN on March 7-9, 2011. Classes are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Architectural Enhancements is proud to present THREE NEW CLASSES--The first is "Ultimate Decorative Concrete"!  For $995, you will receive 5 days of instruction, continental breakfast and lunch, and a full portfolio to take home.  This class includes all the instruction in the Premier Overlays, Stone & Countertops Class and adds special emphasis on decorative countertop techniques. "Floors, Concrete Restoration and Staining" is the newest class and it's debut is April 6-7 in Annandale. This class provides 2 days of hands-on instruction for concrete floors teaching a number of texture designs and coloring for both interior and exterior surfaces.  It also includes instruction on concrete restoration!! YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS THIS AMAZING NEW CLASS!  Classes are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Superior Countertops & Backsplashes is the other new class that provides 3 days of instruction on concrete overlays & backsplashes. The first Superior class was held in Annandale, MN on November 1-3, 2010 and was a huge success! AND NOW we have added this class in April on the 11th-13th at our Annandale, MN headquarters.  This class includes a variety of unique techniques for edging, staining, decorative stone inlays, epoxy colorants & additives, carving, molding and layered textures. The registration fee is $695 and includes continental breakfast, lunch and 5 countertop/3 backsplash sample boards that each student will take with them for his/her portfolio!  YOU WILL BE AMAZED AT WHAT YOU WILL LEARN AND WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS WHEN YOU LEAVE THIS CLASS!
