About Architectural Enhancements LLC

Architectural Enhancements, LLC. was founded in the late 1990’s to provide decorative concrete products to the Midwest and the rest of the northern hemisphere.  It was originally named Architectural Enhancements, Inc. and had headquarters in Lake Crystal, Minnesota.  In the early years, products were created and then tested for performance in the rigorous freeze-thaw climate of southern Minnesota.  The company gathered a following of loyal contractors and began to grow.  By 2005 the product line had grown into a decorative concrete system that included concrete overlays, concrete colorants, and sealer.

Then, in 2007, current ownership was having difficulty funding expansion, and a private equity firm named Unlimited Peak became interested in the potential of the company and the overall long-term expansion potential of the decorative concrete market.  Soon after, they purchased the assets of the old company, renamed the company Architectural Enhancements, LLC, and moved it to its current location in Annandale, Minnesota, upgrading equipment, processes, and marketing efforts along the way.  Shortly thereafter, key employees were added to strengthen the training and customer service support that the company provided.

Unlimited Peak Partners have overseen the substantial improvement of the management and operations of Architectural Enhancements, and the expansion of distribution across the Midwest and into the South.  The mission of the employees at Architectural Enhancements is to continue to develop the decorative concrete market with great products, thorough training, and accurate and timely information.

Today the company is still adding key resources and developing new products that are aimed at making decorative concrete systems more durable, easier to use, and of course, more beautiful.  The company is enjoying a period of rapid growth despite the less than torrid economic climate.
